Title. Personally, I have 9 (years I consider to be this universe):
My JoeVerse (2002-2014, orginally 1982-1994) My Pursuit of Cobra (2009-2016) RAH Toyline (1982-2002) RAH Comic (1982-whenever Devil's Due ended, I lost track) RAH Cartoon (1983-1991) Joe vs Cobra (2002-2004) Sigma Six (2005) Rise of Cobra (2009-2010) Hasbro's Pursuit of Cobra (2010-20??) Tell me if I forgot a line.

Just the one. I combine the toys into my own verse and go with that.

My GI Joe universe takes place between 1982-1990 or so. I won't be mixing PoC stuff in with my ME stuff because it all looks too futuristic, but I might mix my RoC with PoC. That stuff is all taking place in current day.

my Joe universe has no time. it is an amalgamation of old with new, where I start with what I enjoyed as a kid and add to it with what is new.

i really hate the term _____verse.
in my head it says a lot about the people that use it, and it then forces me to make judgment calls on a persons character. with that said, and to stay on topic, I'll second gunslingers opinion.

Seems like there are two questions here:
Mine seems to be much like gunslingers - for me it is a fluid fantasy (that sounds wrong) in which I use what I like from all eras. But for official Hasbro sanctioned universes, you left out: GI Joe Reloaded GI Joe Extreme Sgt Savage which can be argued to be a part of the RAH toon verse DDP which shares a begining with Hama's RAH but then becomes a new continuity once DDP begins which is not how it was originally, but Hasbro says that's the way it is now and well it's their property. RAH comic which starts with Marvel #1 and Picks up again with IDW GIJ RAH 155.5 It's pretty hard to label any of the toylines a certain continuity. It obviously is in that the file cards create a storyline, but I guess: RAH, New Sculpt (GIJ vs Cobra, VvV, Spytroops, and DTC), maybe 25th but isn't that the same toyverse as RAH?, ROC is that the same as the Movie?, and finally POC. |

I have been seperating out my joes since I was a kid, too.
1982-1985 1986-1989 1990 (this was the most kick ass single year, IMHO) 1991-1992 1993-1994 2002-2005 (JvC-DTC) 25th anniv. ROC-POC

Since I was a kid my friend and I played with our Joes like a t.v. series. We always picked up where we left off. I am in a way continuing that by using many ROC figures as either completely new characters or as offspring of the original 25th Joes.
