The closest site I've been able to find with all of the information of the GI Joe 3-3/4" empire is the propadeutic site - however, this doesn't have very good quality pictures. I've been looking for pictures of all of the vehicles, in all of their various releases, but I'm just not able to find anything - only random pieces scattered all over the 'net. Anybody know of anywhere like this? (Somewhere that keeps up to date, and includes stuff from the comics and cartoon as well.) I've found some books, and am thinking of purchasing them - however, especially with the renewed interest (25th anniversary and such) in the line, these books are probably already out of date. As long as it includes all of the stuff in all of the various lines put out up until now...

This one's pretty good - but isn't there something that goes more thoroughly into stuff created for the Joeverse outside of the toy line, like the comics and cartoon? Also, I hadn't paid attention to the line much after 1994 until recently, and I know there were various other lines created, such as Joe vs. Cobra and Valor vs. Venom (I liked the line the ROCC and Night Ops Humvee came out of). If I knew more about computer/internet stuff (and had more time to devote to it), I'd start an archive site that displays every figure, vehicle, weapon, location, storyline, comic, cartoon episode, and other miscellaneous stuff like books (I remember I had some Joe choose your own adventure books as a kid), video games, cereal boxes, etc., including all packaging, filecard, blueprint, advertisement, whatever... a database of everything and anything about G.I. Joe. Divided into original 12", ARAH 3-3/4", Extreme 5", other 12" lines, other 3-3/4" lines, Sigma 6 line (both sizes), and lastly, the 25th/Modern line.
And yes, I have OCD. |

I don't know of any that have everything all in one place, but this one is great for the cartoon.

Basically minstrelboy you are forced to visit multiple sites in order to get ALL the info you are looking for. Will have to see what Destro has up his sleeve. :\ FYI, JoeHQ hasn't been updated in quite some time (almost 3 years it looks). Last edited by WildWeasel; 04-17-2008 at 10:35 PM.. |
