As a boy growing up in the 80s I loved all things GI Joe. There was nothing better then rushing into a toy store and finding new Joes on the shelf.
Now some of these Joes didnt show up in the cartoon but I didnt care. I loved that new characters were available to join my troops. My reason for bringing this up is this: As I have gotten back into collecting I notice now I want updated versions of the old characters and seem to overlook any new troops Hasbro comes up with. I only just got Helix and Bench Press at clearance and I am happy with these so now Im inclined to re-think my collecting habits. Anyone else feel like this? Opinions, discussion welcome. Where did you get Helix and Bench Press on Clearance? I've never seen them at retail in Oz. I'm in Canberra btw.

Im from Perth. They were on clearance on an Ebay store. Got free postage too. Didnt mean to get your hopes up buddy. Although Toyworlds here have GI Joe going way cheap. Finally found ROC Wild Bill for 15 bucks!

That's awesome. I managed to get a bunch of stuff when I was at Supanova in Melb. I tend to get most of my stuff off of eBay.
I was very hesitant at getting 25th / ME to start with, initially I was just getting them for display only but have since changed my mind and intermingle them with my vintage stuff. Like you, I'd love to see more new characters. I don't think we're gonna get POC over here though.. :( |

I got all the wave 2 vehicles for $20 each, Dragonhawk for $30
I got a card from them, this is their web site http://comixfactor.com I've already got most of the first wave of POC coming from China. If they come out here, I'll be stoked but I doubt we'll see them. I'd love to army build those Mechs |

I love new Joes. The Joe team has so many holes to fill that new guys are always welcome.

Crosshairs Barrel Roll Bombstrike Hacker Hi-Tech Hard Drive Med-Alert Wide Scope Red Spot Depth Charge Dart (PoC Spirit) The Stahl Family (Barrel Roll, Bombstrike, & Blackout) story could take the place of the rehashing of the Snake-Eyes/Storm Shadow story. While I believe the mainstays (Duke, Snake-Eyes, & Scarlett) will always be the mainstays, I'd like to see Hasbro develop other characters as well.
