arent those flight controls...as far as the "muzzle" for me thats a positioning nozzle for a thruster...its how i explained it to myself

maybe a flamethrower? could be using some of the jetpack fuel to kick one big flame.. (?) hummmm... damn.. now i wanna know if that's it. tsk....

You're right. It's also a control for the pack. That's probably why it's connected to the JUMP.

In the original comic, issue one, Stalker uses the JUMP and refers to the rifle attachment as a laser. The connector is the early 80s scifi-modern way to indicate it needs a power supply. You'd need to see the JUMP blueprints from the original set to be sure.

Yeah, according to the blueprints it's a laser blaster AND jet pack controller in one. We have that technology in the military yet? Jet packs, laser blasters and stuff? What's the hold up? We still gotta find Bin Laden!

They've had working jetpacks since the 70's. They just didn't have the fuel capacity to fly for more than a few minutes.

Its a relief tube. The 'muzzle' is where the collecting takes place.
