How about Bangers & Mash, a sapper and his faithful bulldog?
Actually, I feel the same way you do, and always enjoyed the non-American members of GI Joe best, because I feel there are so many elite badasses around the world. I'm working on a custom of Big Ben currently. He's about 70% finished.

I Suppose we could have a Ghurka soldier named "Kukuri"... that's obvious, but it works rather well.

Blackwatch
Black Watch - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia One of the component regiments, 42nd Foot, was instrumental at the Battler of Waterloo Also, Coldstream http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coldstream_Guards Maybe, Greenjacket [also Redcoat] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rifle_B...onsort%27s_Own) Additionally, Dragoon and Lancer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cavalry...e_British_Army There is also the Paladin and Challenger tanks they like to use over there. Oh and Chobam, the reactive amor used in the afore-mentioned tanks, which the Abrams also uses some version of; He can be your tanker. As gunners, you can have a female sniper named Brown Bess (the British Musket) and a Heavy Machine Gunner named Maxim. For Navy, there is Trafalgar (as in Battle of) and Vicotry (Nelson's flagship) Last edited by laurenluna1977; 06-08-2010 at 07:46 PM.. |

Maybe you can take something from a more recent British conflict that some Americans may have forgot about. Any terms of famous battles from The Falklands War that you can think of? The term Yomp or Yomper for a Royal Marine Joe comes to mind.
I always thought it was weird that UK Joes worked with the Argen Joes. If I remember right, relations between UK and Argentina are still a little frosty.
