I don't think you could have a "squad" of Skystrikers on the Flagg anyway... it's not big enough.

It would be nice, but unfortunately it won't happen. Or it won't be the original at least. These were some of the molds that were destroyed when they went to India. so much like the Mauler and a few other vehicles there will have to be new molds made and or just remake one of the other jets.
Also on a side note.. according to new federal regulation on toys, it has to survive a drop test and not break and have sharp pieces. We all know that the original wouldn't have survived such test, but some of the newer jets would. This also means that we may not ever see a 25th Rattler for WW to fly. There is an alternative for him though with the nice Elite Force A-10. The original could survive the droptest so long as the insertion points for the tailfins, and the tailfin tabs are modified. If made from a harder plastic like POM, this is not a problem at all. Not to mention, 21st century toys 1/32, 1/48, and 1/18 planes are all sold at walmart. None of you can tell me any of their planes can honestly survive a drop test. The X-30 Conquest can survive the test easily since the parts are meant to be easily detachable. The Power Team A-10 and F/A-18, might not. I know for sure from experience their F/A-18's wing folding points can be broken off if the plane hits the floor wing first. The vertical stabilizers on the A-10 are thin, so if they hit the floor upside down, they could split in half. Also the Rattler was reissued in 2003 amidst all the talk of the new droptest regulations and whatnot. Even the Skystriker was going to be reissued, but at that time, Hasbro could not get the mold back so the Conquest was subbed in its place. Hasbro did get the mold back later, but no one has any confirmation so far on what they will do with it. |

Man, those stickers are AWESOME. I love the high-viz 70's nostalgic approach Hasbro was taking with the first RAH vehicles.

I never owned one as a child...always wanted one though. As I got back into collecting I managed to piece together 2 of them. It is an awesome jet.

I'd jump on a single skystriker if it was ever released, but I'd be just as happy with the X30, to be honest.

I would love to have the skystriker it reminds me of the movie Top Gun, as for the X30 if its rereleased I hope it comes in white like the cartoon.

For you guys who are "lusting" for the Skystriker as much as I have, check out my posting under "For all you MS Flight Simulator fans" and I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
