Man I just googled some Star Brigade stuff and caught some reviews on youtube...that was beyond horrible.
I guess I just never knew about it or maybe I did and didn't care but GOOD LORD that is BAD! The thing is this, by itself--I'm all about some wacky 3 3/4 figures with weapons that have story line and trust me I like "stretched" Joe storyline...Big Boa and Raptor being 2 of my favorite characters..but that is just NUTS! By Joe standards anyway! So back to my question...did ARAH G.I.Joe storyline intertwine at all with Star Brigade?.....Man I hope not. |

Oh man...I thought that "space Roadblock" was just some thing that had to do with the Defiant...
They were involved with those crazy aliens with the weird rubber heads?! |

I don't think the aliens were involved... just Joe vs. Cobra in space... but they had just dealt with the transformers a couple issues prior to this... so I don't thing the rubber headed aliens were too far out of character by that point... No big surprise the ending was right around the corner from this :(

No aliens involved, unless you count the Oktober Guard! Seriously, the Joes and the Oktober Guard team up to stop an asteroid that's preparing to crash into Earth. I believe some "Mad scientist" type had something to do with it.

In the timeline of all things GI Joe, whenever Joe has gone into space, it has been poison to whatever scale was selling at the time.

Star Brigade was pretty bad, but I still like the Astro Viper.
The original Astro Viper, not the Aqua colored repaint that was in Star Brigade. |

Astro Viper was cool and was even cooler in the comic. Seems like something Cobra would try to do. If I remember he was some sort of super soldier in the comic.
