Just an interesting thought that I had. I usually have a trade or sale at least once a week, if not more. So that means there is at least 2 packages being sent out.
Think about this: How many members are there on the Tank? and how many of you are making deals/transactions every a week? That means there must be a ton of Joe stuff floating around the world all at one time. Potentially, if every item was different and complete, the whole GI Joe collection could be in transit with the USPS/FedEX/UPS!!! ...and what about all the lost mail that doesn't make it to you guys? There could be amazing Joe items just sitting in some room somewhere, and we'll never know. My mind is just melting at the concept of wrapping my head around the immensity of this thought. (or something like that) oh yeah and not to mention all the other deals being made on the other Joe sites: YoJoe, Terror Drome, eBay, etc. I mean the rabbit hole is endless. Anywho, just a thought I had. Sorry if your brain explodes after reading this. |

That is kind of interesting if you think about it.
I know I have 2 packages in transit right now.

Hmmm,i am intrigued at the idea of some Indiana Jones-esque mail room somewhere filled with undeliverable packages containing such lost antiquities as Terrordromes, Sears Mobats, etc. Many figurative grails....wheres a hat and a whip, cue the music!

but small stuff like Heavy Metal's Mic (or any mic for that matter) or Firefly's phone. How awesome it would be to discover such a place! |

Hmm, the sad thing is, that stuff probably sits undeliverable for a set period of time, and the USPS probably destroys the packages. that is a sad thought my friend. That possibly, a complete minty fresh terrordrome was destroyed because someone didn't address a package correctly.

I often wonder how many attics are full of Joes, Star Wars, or Transformers.
The show American Pickers on the History channel makes me want to get a van and drive around the country randomly knocking on peoples doors looking for toys. Could you imagine the reactions from people? |

Yeah, just think of how many joes are buried in creeks, sandboxes, attics, gardens, rabbit holes.
