So... 2000 years from now when the good people of [enter exotic sounding planet's name here] swoop down and pick over the polluted remains of this world, you're saying that they'll find a 1:18 scale army protecting the grave of one Hicks Royel?
My god, they'll think I'm some kinda important ruler from our time... or one very lonely man with only toys to keep him company. Only time will tell. Last edited by Hicks_Royel; 04-06-2008 at 10:05 PM.. |

I found it much easier to army build the Cobra Vipers from the Viper pit then 25th figures. thats why I had over 100.lol. but most are sold already.

I build using squad logic, too (1 Officer - who is functionally a US Sergeant or CW Corporal - and 5 Troopers, one with a support weapon) ; or would, if I could afford to Army build at internet prices. :(

I decided early on to limit my armies to units of 6 as well, for space reasons more than anything. So for example I have 5 silver emblem troopers and only one officer to lead the unit.
I follow the same logic with all the troop types, 5 plus one unit leader. I had to buy a 2nd night watch set to get the sixth member of the team, so now I have 4 extras to customize. I use the Target HISS driver as the leader of my Stinger Drivers and custom painted an Air Trooper squad leader. I always feel the urge to buy more when I see them, but try to show restraint. As it is, even limited to these numbers I have 85 Cobra figures already. I have to draw the line somewhere. I think troop building is great, and alot of fun, but can quickly get out of hand if you don't set limits for yourself. |

I'm thinking of making groups of 40 for my army. (platoons made up of three 12 men squads)
This would of course not be accomplished over night. I'm not rich |
