I'm no artist but this what I'd like to get but only better. This is going to be my first tat and I do have some questions to some of you that do have tattoos. How much do you think it might cost to do this? Also is it sacrilegious to put barb wire across the Arashikage clan symbol?

As to whether it defaces the symbol to wrap it in barbed wire, I think that is a personal decision. i don't find it offensive.
I do think that the barbed wire looks a bit like a chain link fence, I would wrap it around the arm in a spiral pattern not a symmetrical pattern but more freeform. if you did that you could get away with one diagonal strand crossing the symbol.

I thought it was stitches at first. As though you had killed an Arashikage clan member, skinned his arm and then had it grafted onto your own.

it's your skin, your money, your tattoo. If you want the barb wire then get it. To hell with what anyone else thinks.

Anytime someone walks into my my shop asking for barb wire typically it starts at about 300.00. Your whole forearm though I would think anywhere with a solid red arashikage symbol- Id guesstimate at about 5-600. ball park.. Unless some kitchen magician is up for the challenge .... then it might be somewhere in the ramen noodle range(LOL). Had you walked inot my shop with an arashikage tattoo idea I'd do it for cheap just out of nerd brotherhood.

Hey in thoughts of the Arashikage tattoo. As someone who has tatoos on his arms. You need to think that it will be everywhere you go. The Arashikage symbol is cryptic and indiscrete but the barbed wire might not be what you want to carry around with you for life.
Think of how you will try to relate barbed wire to your existence when your 60. Not trying to flame your post just as someone who has tattoos I want you to really think what barbed wire means and if you feel like explaining what barbed wire means to you.
