Well, at least you're not gone for good, Xero. I was beginning to figure you'd gotten fed up with the whole mess.
As for the office, wait until Toyota's newest trend, FMDS, takes over. |

Xero, I can understand your dillema. I'm glad you're still going to be on from time to time, I always enjoy viewing your customs. I'm sure as soon as your basement is finished you'll have a display that'll make any Joe fan happy.

Don't get me wrong... I can have my stuff out if I wanted... but not hung up on the walls, like in my office.
We're in the middle of a re-deco of the house. I get an entire, huge room once it gets some dry wall up. Nice shelves and all that. Perhaps even some of those cool ikea glass displays. It has nothing to do with "who wears the pants." She does, hands down, lololers!!!! And honestly, it was very distracting at work. Joes aren't really meant for the wrk place, but it still made me bummed out a little. But I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still around and will get back up online soon. Has the Target vehicles come out nationwide yet?

Good to see your still alive Xero! You have my salute for being able to get away w/ joes at work. I would get burned at the stake if I tried it. Don't worry about us knuckleheads on the 'tank, you take care of business and we'll see you when we see you. Keep the faith brotha'
.....and yes, the target vehicles are popping out all over. |

by what you had did in decorating your office work space man. I too, am really sorry that you had to take down your work display. But it's definitely admirable and bold all at the same time, very cool! I recently started my invasion of the office with a 1986 B.A.T. And even I contemplated on that for a while on whether or not that would even be a good idea, but I'm definitely glad I did. So yeah, I've got that one lone figure displayed at work and and it's on a small shelf that's in my cubicle up at the office...

i can totally relate man. (not on the joe office display. that is pretty much impossible for me since i'm in the navy!)
but as for taking them down and boxing them up (even if just temporarily), i had a bit of a spat with the wife over my collection taking up too much room in the spare bedroom/office of our 2 bdrm apartment. i grudgingly (maybe even childishly?) boxed up ALL of my displayed figures (even then only half of my total collection) and put them in a storage closet. the room was totally void of any figures. it KILLED me. a few weeks went by, then the transformers movie toys came out. i got home from work one day, and sitting on my desk was leader class movie optimus. my wife just smiled and said "i found him for you. if you dont want it i can take him back." i gave her a hug and kiss, almost in tears of joy. the collection grew with additional TF movie figures, and she agreed that if i put up shelves, i could display anything i wanted. (she was sick of figures all over the office desk, and honestly, so was i) shelves went up, and 25th came out, so more shelves were purchased and all are happy. she even thinks the joes are by far the coolest thing i collect. "they look realistic, the faces are so detailed..." she really was blown away with stalkers face sculpt. joes are fine with her now. but anyway, enough about me. you get a whole BASEMENT?! lucky sonofa...HEY! its your very own PIT! oh man, how awesome is that? now you just need to figure out how to fit 5 armor plated levels between there and your kitchen floor... take your time man. we'll be right here when you have a chance.
