Well thats not how they do it in the cartoon. They shoot the front of a hiss all the time and blow them up. They are scout sentrys remember? And oh yeah they are not really heavy armor units Oh snap maybe thats why....nice try though.

Comic book had a few moments like that also. Gung Ho's first appearance had him shirtless in Alaska and Torpedo running around the Treasury Bldg in a wetsuit and doing Cobras with a speargun. (I know nobody really grasped the spectrum of SEALs during the mid80's, but c'mon...)

Both of those were because Hasbro wanted them included in those comics and thought children would be to stupid to recognize either if they were drawn different than their figures, i.e. coat on Gung-Ho or BDU's on Torpedo. It wasn't until both Torpedo and Wetsuit had been around a while before they could be drawn in BDU's.

As far as Sunbow goes, it seems they made some characters the exact opposite from their file cards for comedic relief, i.e. Shipwreck, Bazooka, and Falcon.

Nah, we don't know what the canopy is actually made of, and even if it were regular armored glass the angle of deflection is so steep that I'd rather hit it from the side or rear, or if head on then at least from a rooftop where the angle is less of a factor.

And if you look up and look at the HISS Blueprints it actually gives you support for your side of the debate |

Given Cobra to date has fired 45,000,000,000,000 rounds at Joe forces and has yet to kill a single one, we could actually infer that the canopy would be made of simple glass (cause Destro is cheap) since even the joes can't hit the cobras what do they have to fear?...I think your getting the Hiss scouts and regular Hiss's mixed up with the Resolute Hiss...that is the only Hiss that makes any actual real world scneario more belieavble in reagrds to firepower, armor and size.
And if you look up and look at the HISS Blueprints it actually gives you support for your side of the debate Add to that the fact they're capable of 70mph speeds (presumably fast enough to dodge a direct rocket hit in the hands of a capable driver), so all the more reason to not take it head on. |
