It reminds me of the time between the end of the 25th and the launch of RoC oh so long ago.

i think ive had all i really need. the 25th line was almost perfect. there are some holes i wish they would have filled, but that with the sunbow cartoons have given me a chance to share my childhood fun with my son. im catchin up on the 25th line for now. glad i have a break...

During the break between 25th and RoC I collected a few Marvel Universe figures. Then when RoC arrived I went from completist to picking and choosing from the new line. Now we're on break again and I'm buying up MotU Classics. That's funny because I was never into the line when I was a kid and now I'm all in. I hope GI Joe comes back soon. I can't buy MotU at stores for the most part and I miss the hunt.
That's what I miss more than new figures. Going to the store and searching for the newest and latest.

I also keep going to toy aisles, with nothing on my wants list. ...that's how I ended up with 14 Iron Man figures I wasn't going to collect... so much for "Just War Machine!" I'm with you, man. Iron Man was good to me until I got everything I wanted from that line, and trying to find anything good from the MU line is pretty much not going to happen, so there's just not much to look for at this point.

Profit? No matter how much you overcharge for figs and vehicles if you end up with large amounts of product warming shelves and being put on clearance eventually retailers will scale back orders or stop buying. Where is the profit then? Hasbro has stopped selling G.I Joe figs at retail several times over the years. Why would they stop selling at retail if they were making a large profit?

I've got to admit I'm as impatient as the next guy waiting for new Joe product but I'm kinda glad for the break. It's alowed me to add to my Marvel Universe and Iron Man 2 collection. If there were new Joes coming out now I could afford to collect all three lines.Hopefully by August The MU and IM2 lines will have died down and I can focus my money on Joes.

I love eveything you post...about as real as you can get.
Alot of Headman fans in the Tank, I'm proud to be a Syn3sthesia fan. On the G.I.Joe tip, yeah shit does seem weak. All these dates for toys that can be canclled at the drop of a dime don't seem to give me hope. BUT, I'm still lookin' forward to some new ish.
