the excessive re use of the commando snake eyes/stalker legs in the 25th line just kills me. grunt, clutch, short fuze, etc. all deserved more '82 accurate legs. the slit wrists don't really bother me so much, it's the lack of sense with the frankenfigures that really gets me. use existing molds, but use them wisely.

The meteoric rise of the 25th/Modern Era and it's abrupt end.
Scrap Iron being released like 4 times but never on a single card. The last wave of ME vehicles not making it to retail. The last wave of Mighty Muggs not making it to retail. The last wave of Combat Heroes not making it to retail. The fact that the International Joes were released as an expensive Con exclusive. (same with Crimson Strike) Many original Joes that did not get a Modern treatment. Besides that I'm pretty happy with a line that started out as 'just a couple 5 packs and maybe some single carded figures'. |

I don't like the way Hasbro is again taking the first half of the year "off" from releasing new Joe Product. Last year we got the online only vehicle wave 7 packs, but there was nothing new in the stores for nearly 6 months. Now this year, they appear to be doing it again. I recall there was a mention of an additional single carded wave of ROC due early this year but so far not a peep more, same goes for the delayed wave 3 alpha vehicles.

I do not live for GI Joe (well I do kinda). I am frustrated having to either get to the store when the case is being put out or missing out on that fig you really want.
Falling into the habit/need/urge to check all stores everyday and also having to hit them at just the right time is very frustrating and wastes tons of gas and time! Many on here have spoke of learning the stores delivery schedules helps. My stores do not seem to know what schedules are. Joe stuff is delivered on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Good luck picking the right day, or just check every day. I wish distribution included various waves being sent out at the same time. It is frustrating to go to WM, Kmart and TRU to find the same wave of figs you already have being put out. That has happened with W5 ROC. Hard as pavement to find before Christmas. That wave is everywhere now!

I really dislike GI Joe fanboys who always appear to think it's cool to hate everything. Yet, they remain fans and don't move on.

My only frustration would be going to a store and the figure I want to buy is sold out.

Can peg warmers be predicted? I guess it would be a given that snake eyes or some other "famous" character may not become peg warmers.

I am irritated by the fact that most of the RoC figures are built like gorillas, in that their legs are too short for their bodies (not by a WHOLE lot, but it's still definitely noticeable).
Also, what's with the figures that you occasionally get who have one of their legs about a millimeter longer than the other? The lack of diversity amongst the female body sculpts annoys me too - no difference AT ALL between ROC Covergirl and ROC Dialtone except for the head? Wow. |

I wrote a Hasbro a letter several times demanding that they make a gi joe of me! Everytime I go to Target, I check the shelves for the Elsa figure and it's not there!
In fact, I once went to Target customer service and said, "Where's the action figure of me!" and the employee there burst out laughing. He thought it was a funny joke, but guess what I started crying. Why Hasbro why? I'm somebody important and don't you forget that. Last edited by Zoltron; 03-11-2010 at 03:55 PM.. |
