So there seems to be ALOT of Tankers that mention they would have liked a 25th Muskrat, or would like him to get POC treatment. There is just alot of Tankers that are fans of the character in general...so...lets talk about him.
Def one of my faves, and fortunate enough to still have my vintage. I'm really suprised he didnt get the 25th treatment or didnt have bigger comic/cartoon impact. To me he looks like he could be marching behind Barnes and Taylor in Platoon, or would have fit in perfectly riding up river in that PBR in Apocalypse Now...the guy just reeks of Vietnam/Jungle toughness. If anyone could or SHOULD give the numerous Cobra swamp inhabitants a boot in the ass...who better than Muskrat? Muskrat is an AWESOME G.I. Joe! |

Muskrat was one of my final favorite characters from the '82-'94 run, and still is one of my favorites. I'd love to see him come out with the POC stuff, along with a Low Light and Techno-Viper.

Considering we never even got Dial Tone, Footloose, Airtight, Sci-Fi, Low Light etc... who all got considerable media exposure in the cartoon back in the day, it shouldn't come as a surprise at all that we never got a Muskrat. They barely cracked the '86 line-up, let alone the later years.
I would love it if we got one, though. He was indeed a great figure. The green was a bit dark (i.e. not olive drab), but it still worked really well.

What? You guys didnt get the memo? Here he is in 25th style
Seriously though. Muskrat was always one of my favorite figures to play with as well. Course as a Kid I basically pretended he could do nearly anything on that board, including surf through the air. LOL I would love to see an official version.

I liked the figure when i was a kid...he wasn't one of my go to guys, but he saw a fair amount of play. I hated his waveboard though, that got thrown in the trade bucket. Also, i thought the vintage figure's hat looked......odd. But, now a days i don't really care for him. His design is just so dated. I would love to see a POC re-envisioned version of him, with an updated design instead of just another 25/ME throwback.

Yeah where the hell is Muskrat? He at least looked decent. Can't say the same about those NEON years, but many of the other's we're misssing had great Night Force alter egos that also would make an awesome 7 pack.
