Original Comic books by Marvel

Hey did marvel ever make a masterpiece edition of the G.I.Joe comics? Like a hardback edition or collective re-prints? 'Tanks a lot

I believe they have put out 10 issue collections only covering the first 50 issues and from what I have read are not going to release anymore. I have seen them at m local comic store but haven't paid the 20 dollars each price yet.

$20 is getting off easy, I've seen Vol. 3, 4 and 5 go for over $50 each on Amazon and ebay. I'm still hoping that with the movie coming out Marvel will try to get in on the action and reprint those things. Hell, I like them to go all the way and put the whole series in TPB form.

I once saw someone selling a bound hardcover set of the complete marvel run. The seller apparently took all the comics and had it professionally bound. I don't remember what it sold for but it was way above my price range.

Thats actually a cool idea, Im not a mint comic buff, It would be neat to have the early years in one set. Yeah, I was thinkin the same thig BigErn. I totally think that Marvel will get the publishing rights for the movie
