Does anyone remember who the peg warmers of the early assortments were?
How about the Hard to find figures (limited funds and purchasing ability not withstanding)? For me, '84 Stormshadow was the rare one. All my friends couldn't find him and would try to buy or steal mine. 85 tele-viper 86 iceberg and mindbender 87 psyche-out and all battleforce 2000 firefly and mutt were hard to find around here... if memory serves |

My Mom and I moved to the U.S. When I was five and all I knew was He-Man. I couldn't bring any of my toys so I had nothing to play with. It was my aunts best friend who gave me my first taste of GI Joe. I actually recieved a big box of hand-me-down GI Joes. When I say a box, I'm actually lying. This lady, whom I adore and she doesn't even know it, gave me her sons old Joe collection. Overnight, I had the terrordrome, the gi Joe headquarters, tons of vehicles and every Joe from 82 through 89. Storm Shadow was the first figure I pulled out of that box. I loved that figure...
