For the record:
Trench knives were one of the big items during World War 1. At first, it was pretty simple- smash face, stab skull. Then the knives got really nasty- inhumane, even. The laws of warfare eventually cracked down on them and they aren't really authorized (unless they only have one edge and one point). Attacking someone with them otherwise is against the Geneva Convention. |

Well when you get your face chopped by helicopter, I am sure your views on what is right and what is wrong gets a little hairy.

That's really interesting. After reading this, I'm sure there's an entire list of things that can't be used in warfare, let alone trench knives.
