Hey guys, wondering if anyone who has Mark Bellomo's "Ultimate Guide To GI Joe" has any idea who the character is on page 5 - it's a painting of a character who to my knowledge has never appeared in anything (toy, comic, cartoon, etc) and there is absolutely no reference for it in the book.
If you have the guide, go to page 5 and check it out (it's the picture next to the painting of Countdown). It looks like an unproduced Dreadknok... |

It's not a dreadnok, it's a native american GI Joe.

its ice viper. or an early sketch of him anyway. look at whats in his hand for the biggest clue it is a sigh which the figure came with. Also look at the helmet, and the warm weather boots and fur collar. And the big bandolier looking thing across his chest.

Nope, Ice Viper's on page four. The indian's on page 5 next to countdown.
Bellamo said in a panel at last year's Canada Con this was an unproduced native american joe. |
