It seems like if you grow close you are solidifying into a relationship - particularly between those two. I don't remember many - if any - of the Joes kissing anyone (including Ripcord and Candy) so that seems to have not been something Marvel wanted to introduce during this run. Still, issue 52 has Scarlet sharing that knows SE heart, and SS responds to that. Later, it is her anger at SS for sending SE in a killing frenzy she stabs SS. Or when SE is captured by Cobra and held at the Cobra Embassy, Scarlet moves heaven and earth to rescue SE. All of this draws one to say that while the Joes take care of their own, those two were almost inseperable and had each other's backs in a way that only one other Joe couple during the Marvel run seemed to, and that was Flint and Lady Jay.
Thats what I mean by solidifying the relationship. They had the feelings but they never let themselves act on them.

Here's another pile of doubts (sorry for continuing, but that "I've got da absolute truth" thing is a little incomprehensible for me):
Roadblock and Heavy Duty: did the second substituted RB as heavy weapons specialist, or are they basically the same character? And, regarding my confusion about Cutter and Shipwreck (Eric in Spain), that's due to Shipwreck's vest and aspects which reminds me of Cutter (so, I assume, according to YoJoe's database that no Cutter has been released over 25th/Modern era collection). Thanks again, and sorry for my great ignorance... |

Actually, there was a "Cutter" released in the first series of Toys R Us exclusive Senior Ranking Officer 3-packs. Sadly they just repainted Gung Ho's head, but it was supposed to be Cutter.

I'd suggest you sit down and read the Marvel comics, there's that online site (whose url I can't remember) where you can read them all online for free.

Yes, I know I MUST do that, but don't really know where to find it.
And, about the comics, which is the order on which I should read 'em? My God... so much time wasted playing soccer... |

Then start with Devil's Due's run on the book, ending with America's Elite. Then the IDW stuff is new, so can start that whenever.
