My was about $100, cause it helps to be friends with the artist, Not to mention mine is in the right spot (top of forearm)and RED like it should be! jk Arashtat. Get it when ever you want, it will take about a week to a week and a half to heel if you take care of it like you should, Plenty of fragrance fee lotion. If you go in the sun after it heeled you just need to put some sun screen on so it doesnt fade, which you should always do to protect it. I wouldnt worry too much about the sun while its heeling cause its no going to do that much damage, and its going to scab and itch, you just have to leave it alone. I cant stress the lotion enough

I got mine on May 19th last year. Not sure about there being a best time to get one. I wouldn't really say "blocked" from the sun but no extended time in the sun. Plus the tattoo needs to get air and be kept clean. Wherever you get it done can tell you more about it. And be sure to try to check out the tattoo artist's previous work to make sure that they're good. I know it's probably hard to mess up the Arashakage tattoo but it never hurts to know there work.

I always use Curel fragrance free lotion(big blue pump bottle), like someone else said be sure to check the artists previous work. They should have a book of photos available, if not then that would be a bad sign that they either haven't done a lot or aren't very proud of what they have done.

a good tattoo artist will charge about 100 bucks an hour, so if you're on a budget just tell 'em what you want to spend and they should be able to tell you how big they can get it for what you can pay. the bars should be a cakewalk for any decent artist, just a trace, stencil, and one solid color.
