Dude. Have you tried customizing stuff? That's pretty fun. I just got into it. A lot of people on here can give you great tips and ideas too.

Maybe the new stuff doesn't do it for you because it's so crappy?
Have you ever thought that maybe you got back into Joe because of the 25th anniversary, and now that that awesome product is done with and your stuck with the steaming pile that is RoC that maybe it's time to give it all up and volunteer at a soup kitchen? GI Joe is an extention of the old Marvel comic, and anything that isn't directly related to that deserves to be hurtled into the sun as far as I'm concerned. Down with RoC, long live ARAH! |

{Keanu Reeves' voice}
"take the hostage out of the equation." that's what you would do. seriously, i have had moments of burnout. Then i realized what caused the burnout. i was just buying "Stuff" that i wouldn't ever play with or like, and not "toys" that were fun for me. Like buying that "extreme" joe stuff that came out for no reason other than just buying joe-stuff. and it was easy to cure that. i picked up my favorite joe toys and re-taught myself why i loved them over the other stuff. And so, when the RoC line hit, i didn't run out to BBTS or someplace and order entire waves. The gunship (IMO) was "stuff", the D-Hawk was a "toy". Mole Pods were "WTF?" stuff, Night Raven was a "toy". okay, i see incoming tomato grenades, so i'll leave it at that, lol. I have to do that with any toy line i collect now. So yeah, do what Keanu did in Speed: take the hostage out of the equation (That would be you, dood) by re-discovering what you like most about the Joes and sticking to that for a while.

I collected Joes when I was younger but when I moved some got lost and I got older. The 25th line got me going again and I bought whatever I wanted. I remember seing new Joes on the shelf and I had to have them. When the walmart exclusives came out I wanted them all, of course when you find them you have no cash. I got the Outpost Defender set and was happy. I was at walmart today and found the other 3 sets for 6 or 7 bucks each, a Night Raven for 10 bucks(marked wrong), and the 2 packs for 6 bucks and sme change. I didn't even want to buy it. I don't even want to collect Joes anymore. My question is what happen to me?
like this morning, i was up, showered and bored, so took a ride to target to pick up a snake armor and rocket pack if they had em, and they did. but what made it really worth it, at the register they rang up 13 and change, i was like how much? wow 13 and change for 2 when i was planning on it to be 20 and change. i was about to turn around and go look again real fast to see if they had more, but decided just to leave. i think they only had them flash jet pack things, and i remember seeing a ss on a bike. but i only have interest in the vintage, so i didn't waste my time to go look.. |
