The only subtle references that I noticed was in the first TF:
1)The girl that thought the tooth fairy had arrived carried a My Little Pony 2)Sam had one of those Nerf Backboards that you can plug an mp3 player into 3)The truck that is lifted and blown up in the final battle has a huge Furby ad on the side of it. Anyone else find any Hasbro product placements? (not car or xbox or mtn. dew) |

It will follow the great tradition of subtle connections that existed back in the 80s cartoons;
Wikipedia: "Flint also has a connection to the Transformers series. Fans speculated for two decades that the character, Marissa Faireborn, in Transformers is his daughter. In "The Killing Jar," she encounters an illusory version of her father, he was voiced by the same actor as Flint in the G.I. Joe series, Bill Ratner...Transformers: The Movie (20th Anniversary DVD)....Flint Dille, story editor... confirmed Marissa Faireborn is indeed Flint and Lady Jaye's daughter." |
