Can someone please explain the difference in the crimson and fuschia versions. I have no clue.

It is a very subtle color difference. The crimson is a deeper red for sure. Side by side, it's easy to tell the two apart. Individually, though, it can be tougher.
There used to be good comparison pics around, but I didn't find them at YoJoe.com or theJoeIndex.com. But, you can at least look at each figure and see the differences. The reason for the fuschia team's existence was that the first batch of Crimson figures returned from Asia in the wrong color. Rather than eat the cost, these were sold to collectors as a "bonus" item at the '02 con. Despite the published numbers, the Fuschia figures are MUCH easier to find, less desirable and substantially cheaper than the real Crimson figures from this set.
