Like I said, the 25th did well for what it was, but it wasn't this huge seller that some people like to make it out to be and it never would have been either. There was no retail incentive to make it grow, like there is the movie. Nostalgia is a niche market, and a stagnant one at that. Joe could very well go into hibernation again, but I doubt it. The reason? There's a new cartoon in the works, an ongoing comic that gives it a small presence and more then likely a sequal coming down the line. After Sigma Six there was nothing, and that was a small hibernation. Then the 25th anniversary, which was always planned as just a small thing but was able to grow because the nostalgia collectors went nuts over it. RoC was coming regardless of what the 25th did.

My grandma got killed by battle droids. She was on the way home from bingo, when 2 battle droids and a droideka ambushed her in the parking lot. They stole her medicine and her bingo winnings.

Ya know, Hasbro's not stupid. Everyone keeps saying "they should have kept up with the 25th" but here's a thought... If RoC/Poc tanks (which I don't think it will), Hasbro knows that they can start releasing vintage stuff and new stuff (Bazooka Trooper, Para-Viper) in the 25th format and we will go nuts over it. Why try to compete with themselves, establishing a new line well at same time keeping nostalgia line alive, when they know that the first time a 25th card is announced we'll be going nuts? It's like insurance.

I can't wait to see Real American Hero 30th Aniversary in 2012!
Hopefully by then we will have at least 2 live action films, a new cartoon serries, and a return of Vintage inspired figures, vehicles and playsets. I can dream can't I?
