Honestly, I like where POC is going.
Classic characters with new looks, I'm just happy to have a new Doc figure. Honestly, (hate the colors all you want) would he not fit in with the 25th style figures? Whatever they do, as long as they keep it Turtle Viper free, I'm ok. All the RoC figures fit in with the 25th.

Just give me classic cards and box art, and I will be a happy man.

I just want the smarter use of existing parts. It seems as though if they are using SE/Stalker upper they will always use SE/Stalker lowers and hands. If they use Airborne upper legs they will use Airborne lower legs. Prob because they are in the same mold. If they experiment with mixing and matching parts though there are so many better combos they can create for figures. Just because they decided to use Gen. Hawks legs for Hit and Run did they have to use his arms? Why the cobra soldier torso with diaper crotch when they can use an SE lower and Cobra upper.

First I want the 25th/ME theme back. The whole line doesn't have to be dominated by it, but I'd like a good number of single card releases (no multi-packs) so Hasbro can keep giving old characters new figures.
Second, I'm rather pleased by some of the ideas Hasbro is coming up with with this new POC line, but I want this constant recycling of the same characters over and over again to stop. I want to see more obscure characters and troops, on both sides, getting more attention. Because I'm a COBRA man, first and foremost, and an army builder I want some better troop builders single carded and in army builder packs. I'd like to see the 25th Viper (chrome ver.), Resolute Trooper, 25th Range-Viper, and Elite Viper, but in much, much darker colors. No greens or blues. Also keep reissuing older vehicles and playsets, as well as using designs from other Joe eras. I'm still waiting for Hasbro to blow up the Sigma 6 vehicles to 3 3/4" scale. On the entertainment front, the comics have pretty much crashed and burned since IDW took over the reigns. However with the news that their bringing on board Larry Hama to continue the Marvel series that has me hopeful. I've always preferred COBRA's look from the latter years of the original RAH days, so I couldn't ask for anything better. Although if I had my pick of artist I'd opt for Ed Benes or Brett Booth. In terms of the new animated series, I'm not hoping for much since Hasbro in all likely hood is going to be aiming for a kids audience. But again if it were my call I'd still like to see Resolute continue and keep either Titmouse to do the animation or hire a Japanese Anime studio (GONZO, Bones, Madhouse). However, I'd keep the 3D CGI animation to a minimum and expand COBRA's forces and do a least one major battle scene per episode, like Sunbow did back in the day. Last but not least, a new video game. Boys and girls can you say, "G.I. Joe meets Command & Conquer?" I do NOT want another G.I. Joe game made where I can't play as COBRA, or have to play most of the game before I can play as COBRA. I want access to COBRA's entire war machine from the word GO. One last thing. I'd like all the single card COBRA figures to be packaged the exact same way the mail-away CC figure from the POC line is going to be packaged. I want new Joes that are true to the roots of the ARAH toy line. I want a new Terror Drome and Skystriker. I want the spring-loaded weapons not to disappear, but to make sense. I want fewer versions of Snake Eyes, Cobra Commander, Duke and Storm Shadow. I want a version of all ARAH characters. I want them to be priced under $6.50. I want vehicles over $30 to be worth it. I want realistic toys with some fantasy element.

I want RoC to continue as planned. The Cobra army builders are fabulous. The new takes on the characters are genius.
What i want? Hasbro to go for broke with the sequel. All or nothing. I want the entire product line to hinge on it's success. I want more accellorator suits. I want smaller Mole Pods. I want Rip-Cord flash backs to his college years, with cameos from all Wayans brothers. I want bigger missile launchers. I want a Cobra Commander motorized walking action figure. I want a Channing Tatum male hygene product line. I want Duke cologne. I want Duke body wash. I want Snake-Eyes to talk, and i want it to be a Burger King endorsed scream for a Triple Whopper. I want every department store, grocery store, gas station, DMV and wedding chapel fully stocked with wave 1 and 2 action figures at least 10 days prior to the sequel's release. I want a new Skystriker, but i want it to be a "Rip-Attack" vehicle. Actually, i am very happy with the way things are going. This line normally cylces from the awesome to the absurd and back again. I enjoy the highs, endure the lows and always come back. I am truly excited thinking about POC, Comic issue #156, and a possible cartoon. Oh, i want Headman in the sequel, and i want them to cast Andy Dick. |

Ed Benes for a Joe artist? ugh..
I've always been a HUGE Brett Booth fan, he'd be okay, but because he gets colored by his wife, Jessica Ruffner, the palette would be too bright for Joe. I wonder how he'd look if she toned it down a bit. I wouldn't say the comics have crashed and burned since IDW took over. Each of the series does pretty good and if they had crashed and burned theres no way the ARAH series revival would have happened.
