Roadblock is a major character that is sorta Jar-Jar-ish, with all his rhyming and whatnot.

For the record, I didn't mind RoC Ripcord either. It's just a fun running joke. ;)
As for the Stalker theory, I can't see them making Stalker a clown. He was totally hardcore. Ripcord was as good a choice as any, I guess. MW did a fine job balancing being the comic relief, and trying to give the character a little depth. Not easy with that dialogue, or CT to play off of, I'd imagine. He's good at what he does. Some people get him, some don't. -13 |

Hmm, the Ripcord haters kinda have a point. A lot of his jokes were on a Jar Jar level of cringeworthiness.

Even if they dropped the comedy, and went with Stalker, Wayans could have played him as well as the more straight-faced guy.
I know a funny Stalker would never work. He'd only work if he were sorta gritty and tough. But of course, the movie has a formula, all movies do, and there has to be that one FUNNY GUY in the mix. If the JOE movie were more hardcore, Ripcord and Covergirl would have gotten killed off. It'd have been more of a stretch for Wayans to play Stalker written as close to the existing character as possible, the actor wouldn't have to change, just the character. |

I've only seen an episode or 2, but I think Tunnel Rat was the Jar Jar of Sigma Six. That cartoon was so terrible.
