Well, last year I put in a preorder at Big Bad Toy store for 3 Stingers, 3 Arctic Hiss tanks and a set of each of the Cobra Island sets. Pay over 200 bucks and a couple of weeks later they show up at Ross and TRU at a fraction of the price. DOOOOOHHH!!!!!!!

My worst mistake GI Joe Wise is comprable to the guys that broke their Cobra Missle Command Base and Defiant complex in that it involves another rare Joe Item.
I'll take you back to 1992. I 'm 9. I had sent for my first Steel Brigade figure. What arrived? Version F, the Gold Head! What Happens to him? Over the course of the 90's, I lose his gun, play with him till one leg broke off and the other leg and every joint is worn down, the paint fades, the thumbs break, and, in the end, all that was salvagable of the original package were the head, Torso, backpack and patch. I finally realised he was rare when I got into collecting and bought Ed. 1 of Bellamo's book. When I read the SB (Steel Brigade Section) and saw the value, I nearly screamed. Once a valuable figure, I decided to make a custom out of him. You can see him in my avatar. In Dec 2010, I got another by winning fellow Tanker Vanguard's on ebay. 1-Found hardtops mic piece in a mauler side compartment that i bought for $20.00. Put it in my extra weapons drawer since i didn't have him. Came home a few days later and fuzzy my cat had pawed the drawer open and scattered the weapons everywhere. Never found the mic and a few other things.
2-In one of my first attempts to make a custom i cut up what i thought was a red KB hiss tank. After the cut was made i realized that it was a Red Sears SMS tank. It was in real great condition just missing the black turrent. |

When we were kids, my friend and I took Tripwire and attached him to the end of a fishing line. We cast him up over the electric lines for a wild adventure!
He came loose after clearing the top and went flying, landed on the rocks and bust into a bunch of pieces. The Joes always seem to come back from their adventures in one piece, so we don't think of the dangers. These folks put their life on the line everyday... or in this case, over it.

You just brought a tear to my eye. I began to burn/destroy some of my joes when I was a teen, luckily I never got too carried away and only destroyed some of the lamer 90s figures. However, I do regret letting my sister basically destroy my Shadowloo headquarters from the Street Fighter line.

In the 5th grade I traded cover girl and the wolverine tank for a blowtorch figure, because I thought he was the coolest looking figure I'd ever seen and ever since then I have been kicking my self.
