Are there certain small errors in the Joe-verse that bother you?
Mine is the "99" on the flight deck of the USS Flagg. It is ALWAYS upside down, so it looks like the USS America (CV-66). Feel free to share your own pet peeve! Last edited by Ako Roshi; 11-08-2009 at 01:21 AM.. |

are you sure???????ok you asked for it. The Nimitz is CVN 68. Ok, you see the tattoo on shipwrecks left arm in the cartoon, but on the right arm as a figure. I am guessing that is what you are looking for? Not that big a deal to me though

CV-66 is the USS America. But, at any rate, the numbers are facing the wrong direction. |

I took a SF head slapped it on a CP Duke greenshirt version, added a random green helmet that matched with a visor. Took the belt and body harness from a Rescue Mission Snake Eyes and added to the figure. I did also add the Clutch/Steeler lower legs on the figure since they were same shade of green. Had to modify belt and add holster on side. Also used a Bazooka backpack so he can use to carry Mortar. |

1. The constant name changing drives me nuts! I know why they do it but that doesn't mean I have to like it.
2. Those clear rubber bands 3. Twist ties 4. Window boxes. I HATE window boxes! 5. When a store like Walmart has the items you want on a pallet but instead of putting them out for purchase they take the whole pallet to the back room. 6. When the release date comes & Walmart doesn't put the merchandise out on the sales floor til 2 weeks later. 7. When they charge $8-$15 for a single tiny 3 3/4" figure. 8. Army builders that hog up all the "hot" figures & make me waste gas hunting. lol I can go on & on! Not exactly errors in the Joe-verse but they are related. All good comments but I kinda like Window boxes it may be easier for repackers to switch out stuff, but also we can know if the figure was repacked or not. I was at my local flea market saw a ROC Flash figure at a booth, took a look it was replaced with some Ben 10 figure and the bum had the nerve not only to repack but leaving the damn giant launcher behind. |

Yeah, thats true. But I'm trying to get my new Surveillance Port out of the box right now & it's a nightmare. 50 million rubber bands, twist ties you can't get to & a little hand gun on a tiny blister wrapped around the top part & taped together. If this was in a closed box none of that crap would be there. It would be so much easier to unpack & assemble.
