Does anyone else have the same problem that i am having with Toys R Us. I haven't seen any figures there in a long time. Come to think of it i have only seen a few comic packs and no single carded figures. I keep thinking that they are going through a dry spell and will start stalking eventually, but now i am even wondering if they will even carry the TRU exclusives that will be coming out soon. Where i live, there are no other TRU's within at least 100 miles. Is this going to be a problem all over or just in certain locations?
I have read on a few posts here that some of you have found figures there and it is kinda discouraging because one of the places i used to love getting joe figures, isn't getting them. Right now i have to rely on Target and Wal Mart for my joe needs but it would be really nice if one of my favorite toy stores would actually get GI Joe back on the shelves. Any help on this would be great. Thanks... |

Just thinking out loud, but perhaps they're not seeing a lot of stock of the main line as they're about to get a boat load of exclusives?? Could be Hasbro's way of balancing out the major retailers.

TRU in SoCal had Joes all through the holiday, and I found a lone CG there a few weeks back, as well as straggling CC and Shipwreck, so they have also had wave 5. and there have been many reports of finding wave 4 there as well. I think the problem is they don't get a lot in, so if you aren't there when they do you are SOL. but

What's weird about TRU is that they only give the Joes an endcap, at least the ones I go to. And it seems like they only get like 1 case for the entire week.
I've also noticed that they switch the tags from single to comic packs all the time. Like Viper48 said, it would be great to find them at my favorite toy store. The good ol days are definitely long gone for finding mass amounts of Joes at TRU. |

I've only been to my nearest TRU once (it's about 30 minutes away), and probably will not return. They had 25th figures relegated to the side of an end cap (an area where you'd normally find batteries or something similar in any other store) of 2 maybe 3 pegs for figures and comic packs. No Joes in the actual aisle.
Although I did manage to snag a Snow Job and Shipwreck, my local Walmarts, Kmart and Target have far more space for Joes and are far closer. |

The good ol days are definitely long gone for finding mass amounts of Joes at TRU. The TRU here doesn't have them on an endcap. It is pretty much right at the end of the military toy isle. Every time i look there, it is usually holding overstocked items from different lines in that isle. Whats weird is every time i ask an employee, they always point me to that space. The pegs for figures is always empty and i only see comic pegs, no single figure pegs... |

You local TRU seems to get a case a week? The one near me seems to get one per month! If it weren't for the wave 1 comics, 3 pack comics and single Plague trooper 5 pack I wouldn't know Joe existed there. And there are the $29.99 shelfwarmer 5 packs as well. I did see Roadblock keeping Cobra commander company last week.
It would be nice if they actually had regular replenishment, but I do prefer the $1 difference on singles at Walmart. |

Yes ussually there pretty dirolect. Which is a shame because as a collector I come in to spend money. But this morning it seemed that they revamped there invintory but it was only wave 3 of 2007 so it was lackluster... Still looking for some Crimson Gaurds.

yeah, @ my TrU besides the 5 packs i've only seen FLint once a the very beginning of the line (should have bought him then :p) at that point they didn't even have a peg, they'd just laid them on a shelf and oa couple weeks ago i saw the wave 5 leftovers (HCC and SW) that's it in 6 months.
