I thought that was for the role of Vale, and she was annoying/harassing Nicholson, so they let her go after the horse riding accident. Then later, because she'd lost the part in the first film, that's when she went on Donahue as "Catwoman" hopeful to nab the role in Returns.
Forgot about the Donahue bit. Quote:

I guess they never actually shot any takes with her. According to this article (https://www.denofgeek.com/movies/bat...ne-sean-young/), she was practicing riding for the scene which was planned to be shot the 1st week of filming. There are even polaroids of her on the set/sound stages with Keaton, Nicholson and Wuhl if you do a google image search. That article also mentioned she had been in London for 4 weeks during the pre-production phase at the time of the injury. Really bad-timing and a very bad break for her (no pun intended).

Trading cards were great for autographs, too. I don't have a complete set of Rocketeer, but have managed to get cards from the set signed by Billy Campbell and Jennifer Connelly. No luck (yet) on Dalton or Terry O'Quinn, but I did recently get a signed Charlie's Angels card back from Cheryl Ladd. I'm sure there are likely hundreds of SW trading cards but I'm glad I've held onto the G.I. Joe Impel card set (some of which I've also gotten signed).

German, hm? Interesting. Yes, sometimes the changes are better/worse. I do think the '89 movie was better than the novelization; likely due to how well Keaton and Nicholson can improvise and the removal of the horse riding scene that broke Sean Young's collarbone and led to her being replaced by Kim Basinger.
The Indy comics had more freedom, I think. The BTiLC books are now on my BOLO list. ![]() I was lucky enough to find all the issues of the Raiders comic adaptation at a flea market years ago for cheap. I'm still missing a fair amount of the Further Adventures of Indy and the other two film to comic adaptations, but they're all pretty cool. Quote:

I loved that Impel Joe set as a kid, but ours ended up destroyed, so when I saw a complete set around 10 years ago at a junk store, I snapped it up. |
