The leader of Cobra's naval forces, Kraken has been suspected of a multitude of crimes across the high seas, from smuggling in the Gulf of Mexico to piracy off the African coast. When Kraken and his crew successfully captured an Extensive Enterprises container ship loaded with Cobra equipment, rather than seek revenge, Cobra Commander recognized his talent and offered him a place in the organization. He sailed (pun intended) through EEL and Lamprey training and before long found himself Cobra's highest-ranking Naval officer. Now he's in charge of Cobra Island's naval defenses, though he still finds time to take his customized Moray Hydrofoil out into the thick of things when the opportunity arises.

"He speaks at least six languages fluently, and seems to know every island and coastline in the world like the back of his hand. He has no official records anyone can find. He'll smile and buy you a round while he fleeces you at poker in a dockside dive and silently cut your throat when he sneaks on the deck of your ship in the middle of the night. If you ask him where he's from he says he's a "child of the sea." About the only thing certain about him is that he's one of the most dangerous things in the ocean."

Appearance: A "beefed up" red and black Lamprey Officer outfit. Various weapons of both modern and traditional/archaic varieties. Favors an MP5SD submachinegun he claimed from a navy SEAL who once tried to take him down, and a Maori Taiaha (Fighting Staff) with the striking blade coated in Sea Snake venom, as well as various small edged weapons.

Out of uniform Kraken is a tall, very fit male in his 30's, with features that appear to be of Polynesian or Maori descent, and a variety of tribal tatoos from many different seafaring peoples.
