My wife is running the photo contest, and I believe I am being featured on a panel on Sunday. Hello all - With 9 days to go before I start my epic journey to Joefest, I thought I would drop a line to tell you I am feeling a bit anxious. I should be getting to the Marriott at about 2pm on Friday. Now I need your help as to what I do from there.
I have an early bird ticket for the weekend but I am not sure if that applies for the Friday night? Either way, what time do people start to line up?
I watched Toykennections yesterday with Ed Schummacer and they were saying it's real difficult to get food, breakfast also as it is so busy. What do people do then?
Also, Solid Raven Toys and Wedge, I cannot find you on the exhibitors list?

The Marriott has a shuttle from the airport. Not sure if you knew that but you can call the hotel ahead of time with your arrival time, and they will send the shuttle. Please tip the driver but do not pay for an uber. It's not worth it.

The lineup in the lobby outside the exhibit hall starts around 3 or 4 if I remember right. It all depends on who gets there when.

I have never had any issues getting fed at the Marriott. Their breakfast buffet is excellent, or was last year.

If you are nervous, the panels are an easier way to end up chatting with people. It's a quieter setting than the show floor. The line into the exhibit hall is also a good place.
