A couple more upcoming Grindhouse figures.

A custom Sgt Pain figure. This guy wanted $100/ each for his custom Oring figures. A tough sell when others are selling there's for $25/each. He looked to be having a tough day.

And the Black eyed Chicken sandwich, from a place called Knuckle Sanwhiches, a few blocks from the convention. That sandwich was amazing.

Wait, was that across the street from the Mellow Mushroom Pizza place? I think I went looking for it but found it wasn't where my GPS told me it should be.

You were about 10 feet from my wife when you took that Sgt. Slaughter pic. She was right outside the door in the hall.

I wish I had been able to meet you. Next year? Was your wife convinced this should be an annual trip?

Yes that place was near mellow mushroom. My GPS had a hard time finding it also. It's the definition of a hole-in-the-wall / hidden gem. Those are the types of places I usually search for when I visit a new city.

Like I mentioned before, I really regret waiting so long to try and track you down and not getting to meet up. Time REALLY got away from me in there! I honestly asked like 5 different vendors where the photo contest booth was, and not a single one of them had a clue.

My wife was a good sport for the first couple hours. Then we had lunch. Then when my wife realized that my daughter and I were going back for a couple MORE hours, she was like nope, I'm gonna go take a nap in the car. Lol. But she enjoyed the people watching while she was there. She didn't rule out going next year. I'd say next year is a solid maybe.

Also, two thumbs down to the guy that my wife saw completely berate someone in a wheel chair for being in the way. There always has to be a couple bad apples in the bunch.
