Random thought if The Slugger is green and the Driver is dressed in Brown, does that mean if there was a Desert Slugger Thunder would be dressed in "green Guy colours" then ? Or would he simply be dressed similarly to Desert Grunt. Maybe the modern Nightforce take on Thunder could be Green. I certainly wouldn't mind a Night Force Thunder on his own, just as I wouldn't mind a Standard Green Uniform of Shooter or Big Ben in Normal deco too. Quote:

Ok, so the "VAMP" scale or rather price point is interesting. Trying top keep it to that or less, and ignoring the obvious repaints we'll 100% be getting:
*The JUMP, FLAK or HAL seem possible, since they can be towed and are about the same scale/price-point as the MMS. The JUMP could be bigger, depending on how they did the platform, but it also seems the least likely because we already got the jetpacks. *The FANG, Polar Battle Bear, and Twin Battle Gun all seem very probable. Polar Battle Bear would be pretty simple, and probably at the Flight Pod price point. *The Chameleon, ASP, CLAW and Skyhawk also seem like they'd work. I personally like the fully enclosed Ghost Hawk, but I recognize it would be the preferred version. I feel like the SHARC and the Slugger would probably be a bit bigger and slightly more expensive. * AWE Striker, Armadillo, Silver Mirage, Bomb Disposal, Cobra Night Landing and SNAKE would all be at about the right size. I'd LOVE an AWE Striker and Armadillo. and any version of the inflatable RIB would be awesome. I'd like a Snowcat but I think it would be a price point up from the VAMP. *The Hydro Sled, Devilfish, LCV Recon Sled and Triple T and Swampfire feel about the right size. the Firebat and the Thunder Machine feel a little big to me. *Buzz Boar, Coastal Defender, Cobra Jet Pack, Pogo, SLAM, Air Skiff, Dreadnok Cycle and Road Toad would be about right. Maybe the Crossfire and the Battleforce 2000 stuff, but I would think they'd be the bigger price point too. *Battle Barge, RPV, Swamp Masher and AGP would work. Desert Fox, IMP and Stiletto would be the next size up. *Devastator, Darklons Raider, FANG II and Pulverizer seem like they could work. I always liked the FANG II more than the Fang myself. *The Dictator, Piranha and Locust would all work, and i personally loved The Locust as a kid. *The Badger (Less Neon) and Paralyzer (Also less Neon) seem like they'd be good. *The Barracuda and RAT would work at this scale I think. That's probably all the ones I can think of. Much after that gets too big or too 90s. I think for me The AWE Striker is #1, with the Armadillo, FANG II, and Skyhawk all being close behind.

I guess the thing I'm interested to see most is how many vehicles we may start getting a year. Sure we got Bikes before, as well as Serpentor, but starting this year it feels a bit different. Now we're getting way more than that.
This year, counting what's officially known and new molds, we have the VAMP, the Ferret, and the HMS so far. With repaints, the Tiger Paw is officially shown, as is Night Force Shockwave's bike. So far 5. The Stinger and the MMS are unconfirmed (unless I missed something) but they could get revealed any day now for late in the year. So that brings the total count to potentially 7 for the year, plus the Haslab, so 8. So going forward, I wonder if we can expect a small, medium and large vehicle class in 2025 too (say $55, $80 and $100 in price range) plus the the repaints of whatever the new mold is. |
