Opened a box at the store that they saw on a pallet without asking to get the figures inside? What would be wrong with it? Not like your stealing cause your still going to pay for it right?

Hahahaaaa. I used to work at a K-Mart as an 01 (odd, we were the heavy lifters, and I was a 20-year old girl amongst 50-year old guys), and I did that stuff aaaallll the time ^^ Would have never gotten a Wraith otherwise~! I think, so as long as you're not stealing, it's A-OK.

Lol. Immortal I dont work there though. However, I did it 2night at walmart and this walmart is the one I have been avoiding cause it is the most disgusting place in the world. Funny thing is this place had more of a variety then all the tru, targets, meijers, and wally worlds I been 2. Found a wave 3 box, couldnt find anyone to do it for me, so I grabbed the box walked down the little girl aisle for no one could see me and open that sucker right up with my keys. Got the doctor, pp baroness, and aa snake eyes. My wife said if I do that she is going to the other end. I couldnt pass it up. Funny how they were right under my nose the whole damn time.

Had two experiences with this - oddly enough both at the same Wal-Mart.
The first I took the initiative when I couldn't find help and opened a box myself. This went south quickly as the worker in charge of the pallet showed up and was quite angry. The next time I asked nicely if an employee would help me out - and he did. He even snapped at a few other workers who questioned what I was doing digging through the box. It was a great moment as a collector to have my pick of the 25th offerings out of the case. |

Yup. I totally have. I mean...if it's on the floor, it's already in inventory (that happens in the stock room). They don't like it...but they're not going to do anything about it if you do.

I think the workers at my walmart are so used to it now, they don't even pay it no mind. I used to walk by the pallots and be as discrete as possible, but who cares, I'll stock the figures for them if they have a problem with it.

Yeah once. I saw how it was marked... walked up and grabbed it like I knew what I was doing and kept going. I paid for it, of course.
I find that if you act like you know what you're doing, you can get away with near anything. |
