I seem to recall this. I do not see that club figure on yojoe.com, though (and the first BTR figure is not listed under the appropriate year either).
Is there anywhere that has a year-by-year list of every figure released for the years yojoe.com does not account for? It seems like this would be very important just for historical purposes. Thank you to everyone who have helped fill in the gaps. https://www.yojoe.com/btr/03/hollowpoint/ As far as lists go, the 2018 and 2019 BOTY lists I posted above are all of the figures released by the club/Hasbro during that time.

Thank you so much.
I was surprised to see that there had never been a year save one (I think that changed when all we got were those Walmart retro figures) where we did not get a brand new character. I hope with Wolf Spider being introduced that the trend returns and we get new blood introduced into the teams. |

Ice Storm should also be on the list. Also Desert Fox.

Those were before 2018. I think he was looking for new characters that would not be listed on YoJoe.com.

Ice Storm is one of my favorite newer characters.
Who is Desert Fox, though? I was not that a vehicle? |

Night Fox is a Joe. Desert Fox is a vehicle.

Brief aside: I thought Night Fox and Sandstorm both had strong potential as joes but their figures were pretty generic and lacked distinguishing features. How many knock-off Beach Heads do we need right?
At the same time, while I always loved Low Light and Dusty's respective 1991 figures, they looked nothing like these two well-established characters. So Dusty v3 became Sandstorm, the law enforcement and protection specialist (with a pet fox named after Dusty), and Low Light v3 became Night Fox, the special combat and ops expert (and former seal).

Thank you for sharing that. I love hearing how people adapted their figures like that.
I am a huge fan of both Sandstorm and Night Fox (the former serving as a foil of sorts in my Sightline novella). I think they both have great potential, but I do see what you are saying about the redundancy of their designs. I love how you found a way to work around that and integrate these characters into your roster. |
