I don't blame you, this annoys me as well too. Just tell us damnit!
On the surface, I suppose the reason he does this is because pretending to speculate about things that he already knows the answers to would be slightly more reprehensible. Subconsciously, I'm sure there's a bit of bragging showing through there. Doesn't he have a patreon? I would be interested if there are people who subscribe to that and what information they receive. And how would Chris control that info from leaking out. Lastly, I know he has sources at Hasbro where he gets this information, at the same time, they have a very canned PR style relationship as well. I'm assuming when information is leaked to him "unofficially" that it's still on purpose? |

It's "Henrietta Hand-jobbing." Some use it as a marketing technique, some use it for braggart purposes, some just do it because they're childishly gleeful they know something and want to share, but can't. Unfortunately the end result is getting turned on and worked up right to the point where you're just about "there," and Henrietta suddenly stops, and looks at you with that stupid look telling you she's done.

We've got our own inside people on here who have proved themselves who don't do this, I'm just going to continue listening to them.

Not trying to defend them because I share the same frustration. It's just that I like podcasts as a medium for weekly commutes, shopping trips, or lazy evenings on the couch. His "I know but can't say" gloating isn't enough to get me (personally) to stop listening or watching. To me, the positives outweigh the annoyances. |

It's not dumb, I totally get why you would need to stop/take a break from watching. The repeated "we know but we can't say" has gotten a bit tiresome.
Chris seems to be a really good guy, but no one is perfect and he has his idiosyncrasies like we all do. He gets stuck on certain phrases like "Zarana! I didn't know it was you!" or "kitty said", and while an occasional viewer probably wouldn't be bothered by them, when you try to watch all/most of his content it can get annoying. I think that's just his personality and since his streams aren't scripted, you're going to get a lot of it. Personally I still enjoy watching them and can overlook that sort of thing, however I hope he does step back and take a look at stuff like this from time to time and how it affects his viewership. He seems to be so dedicated to his channel that at times I worry that he might lose perspective.

I may be "puttin too much on it," but for what it's worth the Full Force Podcast is the equivalent to the New York Times in that it's the "podcast of record," for the JOE community. It's one thing if Viper Island or even more reputable content creators, A Punk With Toys, TheArtistShArK, It's Chad!, etc. reports on a rumor, but for Chris to do it it's insulting to the people's intelligence because we all know that he's cliqued in with some folks at Hasbro and for him to do a news burst on a rumor is very disingenuous because we're kinda like expecting him to bring clarity to the rumor and not regurgitate unsubstantiated information that's already in the ether. The Full Force Podcast has been around long enough and has built credibility and capital within the community to where Chris shouldn't even be bothered with the minutiae concerning JOE news. There's no reason, (in my opinion,) for Chris to devote time to discussing internal code words, (especially if he isn't going to reveal something we don't already know, and we definitely don't want to hear him mention something that he isn't at liberty to talk about.) Yes he does. Quote:
No doubt. For better or worse the Full Force Podcast is an unofficial (and unpaid,) branch of Hasbro P.R.

I like the FullForce podcast. Sure, it isn’t perfect, but then nothing is. Overall I think Chris does a great job. He’s enthusiastic and friendly. Thank god he isn’t another Viper Island.

I'd much rather just read a short press release from Hasbro than watch any of these annoying videos that anyone makes. They're all the same to me. None are entertaining in any way.

I enjoy the show and I’ve met him a few times. Cool
Dude. Sometimes he lets things slip in his show and if you pay attention you can read between the lines and he reveals upcoming things with out outright saying it. I think that’s really cool. It makes me feel like I’m at a joecon and getting slightly inside info |

I am in no way trying to downplay anyone’s reactions or how they feel. I just feel compelled to state that Chris is one of the nicest, most enthusiastic people in the hobby. I feel like it is that enthusiasm and not an effort to brag that is behind these statements.
