Yeah, I love these kinds of photos too. It was an awesome idea to include them. Sucks you didn't make the cut. What's up with that?! Maybe they got more than they could use?
I'll have to take a close look at the other photos. It would be awesome to spot an old friend like you did! BTW, totally forgot to ask you, what awesome Joe toy are you getting in the photo in the book? I saw that and got all excited...but I still didn't make the cut lol That's awesome you also got in the book! Wonder how many 'Tankers are in that collage?

Awesome!

I'm sure they must have gotten 1 or 2 hundred photos. But it made my day seeing my brother's friend from childhood in that collage! Can't wait to see all those pics and see what everybody had gotten when the pics were taken. Like tons of time capsules.

Ah, such an amazing toy! I still can remember that feeling I got as a kid back then, unwrapping a big present that had just been given to me, and seeing a glimpse of the black box slowly transition into the fiery red and orange glow of the explosion art on the ARAH packaging as I peeled away the wrapping paper (more like ripped it off!) and getting gleeful and jumping for joy as I realized which Joe vehicle or toy I was receiving.
Ahh, to be a kid again back then!

I started to watch the video but then had to stop myself, because I kind of don't want to spoil the experience of going through the book for the first time myself.
At this point, I think I'm more excited for this book than I am for Operation: Recall. (There being a clear completion and arrival window in actual sight may have a lot to do with that.) |

Same here! I watched the unboxing video and a flip through of the first couple pages, but stopped after that. Just enough to get me even more hyped!

This is going to be an amazing book. I backed it straight away when it first hit Kickstarter.

Nice! If I remember correctly, I?m holding up boxed versions of the Armadillo and Moccasin I received for my birthday.

Sweet! Those were the days. Can't wait to see the spread--and the rest of this monster--when it arrives. Fingers crossed for Christmas!

Can’t wait for this, I’ll own it for the rest of my life. I always wanted the other books, but it never happened. The artwork is my childhood….I used to just sit and stare at it forever, and is a huge part of why I professionally became an artist myself. So glad to own this when it comes, I’ll do the same thing and just stare at I’m sure, …so cool!
