Facts are always troublesome to people like you. Large numbers of kids world wide are put into slavery each year but because someone once said something foolish about a pizza parlor you disregard the problem. One political party is in favor of a wide-open Southern border that had 100k+ unaccompanied minors crossing last year. 85k total unaccompanied minors have been ?lost? by the current administration. Sounds like conditions that child slavery can continue to fester in. God forbid a movie raise awareness.

So was Ivermectin. Jacob Blake's pocket knife. Russia-Gate. I tried to find a few more but it seems really weird that Orange Man, The Babylon Bee and Joe Rogan are the only people that get this treatment. |

Still hilarious that Hollywood is s******* bricks over an independent film making $100 million dollars, fake or otherwise (don't know, don't care, it's nothing Disney hasn't done before). It's almost like years of crappy films, poor financial decisions and insulting paying customers have finally caught up to them.

This has been a topic on my mind for the last decade or so, and growing in a sense of urgency.
The proliferation of child-trafficking and the well-placed supporters of the trade are in the shadows. This makes it difficult to perceive just how much power the trade wields in the world. The disassembly of the global child-trafficking trade would be a noble goal for a GiJoe subteam to tackle, and help bring awareness to the problem. This is the sub-team I've assembled so far. Several of these characters have dual-roles. Mercer - Infiltrator, Mercer has seen some of the worst of that humanity has to offer and has stood up to it. A trusted undercover operative. His role on the infiltration team is to be the straight man, the hard case, the serious face. Jinx - Infiltrator, her role in intelligence and her outward beauty make her perfect for being an influencer of the traffickers. Bad men will want to be in proximity to her, and she can kill with her bare hands. This makes her unarmed presence completely convincing. Chuckles - Infiltrator, this agent is the Joe's premier undercover operative. He is the tactical leader of the infiltration team, planning and strategizing. He is also the primarily deal-broker on the ground. Hawk - Squad leader, on the ground and in-person. Due to the delicacy of these missions and the humanitarian stakes involved, General Hawk often goes into the field with his team, ceding field leadership to the infiltrator team during undercover operations. Bulletproof - Breaching team. His experience in Central America, the Golden Triangle, and the Caribbean make him perfect for this squad. In addition he can operate secondarily as a supplement to the infiltration team. He has seen the darkest corners of humanity already and can serve as Hawk's second-in-command. Barricade - Breaching team, he can operate in frontal assault against hardened concrete bunkers or he can operate in urban American cities like LA or NY. Seasoned door-kicker, unseasoned Joe, he goes in following Shockwave or prepares the breach for him. Bullhorn - While his skills as a standoff negotiator do not lend themselves well to subversive, fast-strike arrests, he is still the Joe team's primary intervention specialist. His insight shall be part of the strategy team alongside Hawk, Big Brawler and Bulletproof, and he could supplement the infiltration team if needed. He is not a trained undercover operative but he is the best GiJoe skilled negotiator. Shockwave - Breaching team, and supplementary to the deprogramming team. Obvious inclusion. Shockwave goes in hard and has a keen tactical mind. His SWAT history makes him perfect for missions both foreign, and also domestically. The Joe team's resident choir lead is secondarily there as part of the deprogramming team, to provide spiritual and emotional support and growth. Helix - Obvious inclusion. Has a history of herself being a trafficking victim, a survivor, and has overcome that history. Primary goal is to be part of the deprogramming team. Psyche-Out - Leads the deprogramming team. Essential to helping the rescued victims rebuild their mindset. Shooter - Essential to this squad. The Joe's resident Chaplain's Assistant is there as part of the deprogramming team, to provide spiritual and emotional support and growth. She can also be a first-contact with the rescued, or an exfiltration fire support (although only one of these roles would be possible at once). Wild Bill- Exfiltration by air. Clutch - Exfiltration by land. Lifeline - All medics on deck. Lifeline II - All medics on deck. Stretcher - All medics on deck. Doc - All medics on deck. Doc II - All medics on deck. Law - Arrest and legal team. Law is here primarily for domestic cases when American traffickers are captured. He can operate as the primary arrest agent. MPs cannot formally arrest American civilians but they can detain them, and serve in a legal capacity for followup prosecution. Law is also essential in circumstances where a sting may lead to the arrest of a military leader. Caseload - Arrest and legal team. The primary GiJoe team lawyer can produce perfect prosecutions. Caseload is also essential in circumstances where a sting may lead to the arrest of a military leader. Big Brawler - Arrest and legal team, secondary to the infiltrator team. He can also serve on thw strategy team with Hawk, Bulletproof, and Bullhorn. Brawler's history of counterintelligence and CIA affiliation make him a key player in these missions. Brawler is a jungle expert. He can operate foreign or domestic, can blend into the crowd and pull strings in intelligence. He is also essential to domestic cases involving established targets who may wield political, military or economic power. Big Brawler can operate as a throughline of these missions in almost any support capacity, whether it be a tactical or brute force position. ----- necessary clarification ----- This isn't a political topic, and it isn't about whether Hasbro would ever go down this road with their IP. Maybe it is could be viewed as more appropriate now that the collector audience of GiJoe is almost exclusively in our 40s and 50s rather than a kid toy line... maybe not. That's not the discussion I'm trying to start. What the topical goal intent is would be to discuss what Joes and specialties are most needed for this series of missions, in a real-world scenario. I'm not going to assign any existing franchise villains to this concept, so as not to make any of our favorite bad guys irredeemable. |

believing Republicans that easily when Ron De Santis just said Black People benefited from Slavery. When these things are said, it just makes people not listen anymore. It's honestly terrifying. ======The Quote====== "They're probably going to show that some of the folks that eventually parlayed, you know, being a blacksmith into doing things later in life," --------Ron De Santis https://old.reddit.com/r/politics/co..._from_slavery/

Putting aside all of this political discussion, I do respect several of the points made already in this thread concerning the idea that the mission undertaken by G.I. Joe can cross into the realm of law enforcement aspects. Not unlike futile efforts by the US Army to eradicate opium production in the Helmand Province of Afghanistan years ago, if COBRA were making a large enough profit from Human Trafficking to fund their terrorist agenda, then the G.I. Joe team might assist with that mission to eliminate that revenue source.
In 1992, G.I. Joe had Special Agent Earl Morris of the United States Marshals Service (code named Bullet-Proof) lead a small detachment of G.I. Joes against Headman and his Evil Headhunters when their drug sales profits were being used to fund COBRA terror operations. We knew this small team as the Drug Elimination Force (D.E.F.) and it was very short lived because Hasbro shut that idea down while manufacturing the second wave of product in 1993, rebranding those figures and vehicles with Battle Corps packaging. At the 2018 G.I. Joe Collector's Convention in Chattanooga, I asked David Lane and Lanny Lathem why they never released the Drug Elimination Force convention boxed set which I had so eagerly awaited over the years, and they answered that Hasbro had contractually forbidden it.

Okay, let's take a break from the Political stuff a bit here for a sec clflan33. You are basically saying "Uh uh" "Not true" "I feel that's wrong" Your Word versus facts means the other person is much more convincing. You will pretty much lose any argument or debate in life when it matters. Example: When people bullshit me like Indy 5 is doing great I just pull up Box office Mojo, and ooh. It has Loss leadig box office and then I post my source. That would mean I win. No amount of saying I'm wrong would convince the average person Indy 5 Box office will turn massive profits.
