88. I loved the character arc of him, and the accessories. One day my little brother came home with Shockwave the first figure I'd ever seen of the 88 Joes and I looked on the back of the box and saw Storm Shadow. It was a thrill to see that he was a G.I. Joe now.

So I love all three, but I went with v2. As badly as I wanted him, I never had v1 as a kid in the '80s, but I did have v2. I remember when I first saw the '88 cardbacks for the very 1st time and being blown away that he was now a Joe!!! He was one of the 1st '88 figures I got and instantly became a fav of mine.

I went with v2, but it was close.

I loved v1 and Storm Shadow was my favourite Cobra during the Battle Action Force years. The evil ninja who took on Action Force, the Red Shadows, and the New York mafia at one point.

When I was later introduced to the Hamaverse, he was again a favourite, though Thomas Arashikage was a different take to what I'd been used to. His character arc was my favourite by some way. I pretty much loved everything about the v2 figure. Also there was the fact that he was again fighting alongside Snake Eyes and Stalker.

I've got zero love for V3, as that was after I'd stopped looking at Joes and it's not a design I'm keen on.

I went with v2 Becuase of his story in the 80’s comics.

It’s was deep . He was beyond awesome. Tattoo of Arashikage adding to their already deep lore. Now a good guy ( the original way Hama invisioned him) He was and still is a home run to me.

Agreed, but it's funny that the v19 packaging art didn't match the figure. I'll add that I can't help but think of him every time I see something about Alcatraz (thank you, Mr. Hama) but it's silly that there've been 50 versions of this one action figure.
