DarthBrett's thread, with the rankings of the Classified figures, included a post of Serpentor's field guide, which had a list of his genetic donors.
In this thread, I want to get everyone's list for whom they think Cobra would use as a donor for Serpentor in OUR reality (i.e. the reality in which half the donors they used in the cartoon were either fictional or have never been discovered). For this thread, you cannot use the likes of Julius Caesar, Attila the Hun, Montezuma, Genghis Khan, Hannibal, Alexander the Great, Phillip II, Vlad the Impaler, and Erik the Red, whose remains have not been definitively located. Nor can you use Xanuth Amon-Toth, King Takshaka, or Ulrik the Batterer, who are fictional. The original list of donors included 19 names, but I decided to round it up to an even 20. The rest of you can choose to include more names or fewer names, as you like. I've chosen to remove Rasputin (as he isn't a military leader) and Henry VIII and Ivan the Terrible (as they weren't historically brilliant military leaders) from the actual list of DNA donors. Here's my list: 1) William the Conqueror (resting place: Caens, France) 2) Geronimo (resting place: Oklahoma, USA) 3) Napoleon Bonaparte (resting place: Paris, France) 4) Xerxes I (resting place: Naqsh-e Rostam, Iran) 5) Horatio Nelson (resting place: London, UK) 6) Arthur Wellesley (resting place: London, UK) 7) Erwin Rommell (resting place: Herrlingen, Germany) 8) George Washington (resting place: Virginia, USA) 9) Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson (resting place: Virginia, USA) 10) Dwight Eisenhower (resting place: Kansas, USA) 11) Douglas MacArthur (resting place: Virginia, USA) 12) George Patton (resting place: Luxembourg City, Luxembourg) 13) Frederick the Great (resting place: Potsdam, Germany) 14) John Pershing (resting place: Virginia, USA) 15) Cyrus the Great (resting place: Madarsoleyman, Iran) 16) Robert E Lee (resting place: Virginia, USA) 17) Ulysses Grant (resting place: New York, USA) 18) Georgy Zhukov (resting place: Moscow, Russia) 19) Charlemagne (resting place: Aachen, Germany) 20) Gustavus Adolphus (resting place: Stockholm, Sweden) Hitler was more interested in killing innocent people than world conquest because he had a grudge against the Jewish teacher didn?t enter Art school. |

nothing. He didn't create Paypal, he didn't invent the Tesla, he bought the company and the right to claim he founded it, he didn't invent the rockets of Space X. He's an arrogant asswipe who hasn't contributed much of anything worthwhile to human civilisation. His only "good" thing is pushing the popularity of EVs to force others to start selling them to compete. Frankly, I hope that cage match happens and Zuckerberg kicks his ass.

Makes me think... since we've seen Slaughter with the Joes and Piper with the Iron Grenadiers, which 80s wrestler would Cobra recruit? I'm thinking it's gotta be Jake The Snake.

for one, the arc reactor is limitless energy.
here's a list. https://fandomwire.com/weapons-of-ma...iron-man-suit/ and another list: https://superheroera.com/top-10-inve...-with-ranking/ i just used google. what exactly, has elon musk invented himself? There is no long gone energy crisis thanks to his limitless energy tech. Just like when they had him build a Dyson Sphere over the sun that was supposed to provide limtless energy. The sad fact of comics is they make every character a genius that can cure cancer and the energy crisis and climate change and then don't ever have them do it because there would be no conflict to take care of and no "IRL" ideas to comment on in comics because they couldn't exist in comics. Hence stuff like "Oh, Norman Osborn developed a cure for cancer but weaponized it instead". Or the dumb shit like people loving Captain America and Fantastic Four and the Inhumans but hating the X-Men, like regular people would know the difference between their power origins. |
