Only problem is that those items are never actually used in the comics to help the world.

There is no long gone energy crisis thanks to his limitless energy tech. Just like when they had him build a Dyson Sphere over the sun that was supposed to provide limtless energy.

The sad fact of comics is they make every character a genius that can cure cancer and the energy crisis and climate change and then don't ever have them do it because there would be no conflict to take care of and no "IRL" ideas to comment on in comics because they couldn't exist in comics.

Hence stuff like "Oh, Norman Osborn developed a cure for cancer but weaponized it instead". Or the dumb shit like people loving Captain America and Fantastic Four and the Inhumans but hating the X-Men, like regular people would know the difference between their power origins.

do you have any idea of the thread you're in right now? musk was quite literally compared to being a real life tony stark. it was so much that they gave him a tongue in cheek cameo in an iron man movie. now his luster of being a super inventor is all but the same fiction of tony stark.

im pretty sure he used extremis to protect to world, and it worked until... it went awry, because it cant work so perfectly other wise you're right - there'd be no conflict.
