I tried repainting the head. This is the best I could do

For anyone who's tried it: Is it safe and effective to use acetone on the kind of plastic that the head is made out of? Waiting to have mine in hand before making decisions about it, but in photos the lip shade really draws the eye to the worst feature of the figure.

Yes, I just used a very slight amount and constantly washed him off with water to be safe.

Just make sure you clean him off with water after every swab (I usually have a wet paper towel on standby), and don't put too much on at once or you run the risk of melting the plastic. Just use a little bit at a time and take your time (don't get impatient). Following that, worst case scenario, you might get a white residue if you used too much, which is easily fixed with a hit of dullcoat.
