What media platforms do you use?

I dont use twitter or Tiktok far to much stupidity on twitter especially. Facebook, Instagram and youtube i use daily, but try to avoid interaction with people as i have no patience but political retoric or toxic fanbases, there is so much negativity on every platform is depressing, so while i enjoy seeing articles about what is coming up etc, i avoid the comments sections.
Youtube, i enjoy reviewers like shartimus prime, toku topics & Thew Adams all have great content but i dont watch everything they make.

Pretty much just toy websites, YouTube and of course here on the 'Tank. I rarely go on FB or IG and I actively avoid Twitter and Tik Tok.

Social media was great when it first started and the intentions for its inception were certainly coming from a good place. But social media today is honestly not a very healthy environment for a lot of people and it's proving to be a sort of a cesspool now and for the most part I see it as a bad thing.

The IT guy at work always gets on me for streaming from my office but I know everyone else does it, I just have a closed door lol.

I have my YouTube playlist of music from the Samurai Shodown games. People walk by and are like "Dafuq you listening to in there?"

I try to avoid social media as much as I can, Hisstank being the exception. That said, each social platform is useful in its own way when used in moderation. I'd jump on Twitter to get instant updates on a game or a specific event/alert but I'd be on Facebook for hobby related searches. IG is awesome as I enjoy posting customs once in a while, while YouTube's got ton of product reviews that can be really useful when considering a somewhat expensive purchase. Podcasts are definitely worth it though and ton of fun as I can listen to something when I'm driving or even when having a cerveza in the backyard.

That's awesome! I love video game music, especially the stuff from the early days, so anything from the arcade, any Famicom/NES, Master System, Genesis/MD and 3DX, Super NES and N64 music. Rock that shit dude!

As a fellow teenager, I totally understand where you're coming from. I use Instagram and Twitter to keep up with my friends and interests, but I haven't really delved into other platforms like TikTok and Facebook. Sometimes for an account, I buy TikTok subscribers at https://iamat.com/buy-tiktok-followers/ to increase views. It's essential to use the best media for you and your interests, so it's great that you've found success with HissTank and YouTube. Thanks for starting this discussion, it's always interesting to see how other people use social media.

I'm more of a Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube person myself. Although, like you, I tend to avoid interactions with people because of the toxic fanbases and political rhetoric. It's just too draining to deal with. Speaking of YouTube, I also enjoy watching reviewers like Shartimus Prime and Thew Adams. It's always nice to have some entertaining content to watch. However, I understand that it's important to be mindful of the content we consume and the people we interact with online. By the way, have you checked out https://www.politiq.net/? It's a social media platform that provides all the latest political news. I think it could be a good alternative for people like us who want to stay informed without dealing with the negativity of comment sections.
