Now it's just a bit a joke, but it was once an almost common topic back when this fandom was full of some real creepers/the creepers felt less constrained about being sickos. It would start off as a joke and then real sketchy fucks would run with it.

I imagine many of those sick fucks ended up on 4Chan and various fetish forums. I'd love to see a Venn diagram of the overlap of nerd toy collectors, basement masturbating fetish-creepers, gun nuts and bullshit conspiracy theorists. I bet it would look like a flower with ridiculously stubby petals.
