I have the 1987 mobile command center and the 2003. I loved the mcc when I was a kid. Got the flagg and terror drome later in life. Both are awesome. I tried getting two defiants off eBay but both came destroyed in the mail so I gave up. I?d only buy one if I ever see it in person now. Im just a sucker for a huge playset. Im sure I?m in the minority on this site that loves the Rise Of Cobra Pit. Have two of those. Would have loved to have had that as a kid. If they did ever release the flagg as a haslab I?d get one.

I went over to YoJoe and looked at the instructions and blueprints and box pictures, etc. thinking that 11-year old me have missed that somehow. However, I didn't see the word "medical" or similar anywhere. Anyways, I think I like this idea, and will probably start looking at them as medical bunks.

my line of thinking from when i originally got mine was "this is the control area, this is the medical area, and this is the jail area." since that whole section is the "command bay". it'd be kind of weird planning out a big operation and some healthy dude snoring, drooling and farting up a storm 8 feet away. |

i just checked yojoe.com and 3djoes.com and you're right, there's nothing there suggesting what they are.

I never had the Flagg, being a military kid, moving every few years with that thing would have been a nightmare. I did have the original headquarters (please make a Classified scale middle section, that would be beautiful), I had the 1st MCC, The Battle Platform and even the TOWER HQ FROM 1992. I still have all but the OG headquarters. I loved playsets as a kid. All the STAR WARS sets like HOTH and DAGOBAH were so much fun.

They do look like some kind of monitoring system. And, I do totally agree that it doesn't make sense for people to sleep next to where the missions are planned. Another guy on this forum got the same notion on his customized MCC (see the medkit near one of the bunks) So, yeah, I subscribe to the medical bunks notion Now I need a new Doc O-ring figure to hang around this area Last edited by zorman; 02-17-2023 at 02:16 PM.. |

For the life of me, I have forgotten about the stickers on top of the bunks. I found an image on 3djoes that shows the stickers quite close.

There's no space for figures to stand up when its closed so does that mean in the Joe verse it can't be used by personel until it opens up? Wonder how many times Shipwreck got trapped in there when he was napping in a bunk and they closed it up and moved location.
