This is true, but the exposure has also diluted the mysticism, and exoticism that was so prevalent back then. Although for me, that bubble burst in '94 with UFC 2, when Scott "the real American Ninja" Morris was absolutely destroyed with a quickness in round 1 by kickboxer Patrick Smith, and left stumbling around in the background like a drunken fool. It was sooooo laughably bad. lol

Storm Shadow is the most iconic figure of that year (probably in the top 3 figures of all time with the first Snake Eyes and Duke), and I can't fault anyone for going that route. But for me, the ridiculously cool design and color change gimmick make Zartan the winner.

Yeah, it did. lol So much so, that it's almost embarrassingly bad watching ol' Danielson still attempt his hokey "ka-rah-tay" on Cobra Kai. You'd think after all this time, Macchio would've actually got some sort of real life training, so that Miyagido didn't look like BullShitsu.

Yeah, my GF and I have binged every single season in 1 day lol It's soooo cheesy. But that is why I enjoy it. It's mindless, corny fun on steroids! A little bummed season 6 is the final season, but I think the show has hit the point where it probably should end now.
