Decimator's card is weird, it almost sounds like he is a single character, but then it says "the Decimator's helmet...". It would or should say "Decimator's helmet..." if he was a unique non-trooper character. I still lean towards him being unique, but that one line really sounds like he is a troop after all.

For some reason all this time I've thought the filename was "VAPORS" with an s. It ain't, though.

Neat about The Decimator but I read that like as "send in The Decimator."

All of the Rock-Vipers in the DIC animated series (appearing in only three episodes and both of the season opening sequences) were always clean-shaven.

My modern one is clean shaven. I honestly do not remember where I got this head from.

As far as the Rock Viper's 'stash goes, I've got no problem with all of them having the same. For some reason secret to me, all of the maintenance guys at my plant sport the same facial hair. Some kinda stupid statist thing.

As a kid, did anyone else consider anyone with "Viper" in their name to be a troop builder and anyone with a unique name to be a "unique" character?

For me AVAC, Ferret, Decimator, Wild Weasel, etc. were all unique guys and Range Vipers, SAW Vipers, etc. weren't.

The AV in AVAC stands for "Air Viper" though.

I never did, but a big part of that was also because there were no Vipers until 1985's Tele-Viper. I guess you could follow that after that, but I never did since obviously figures like the Sea Slugs, WORMS, the Lampreys, Eels, etc. were all troops and not unique characters either.

Technically A.V.A.C. would be a troop using that line of thinking since AVAC stood for Air Viper Advanced Class.

I could easily see Rock Vipers having some sort of mustache rule, like the whole unit growing staches like getting matching unit tattoos.

I always made Star Viper a troop builder, even though the arrogant guy from the comics was fun, because we had at least two, maybe three I can't remember, of him when I was a kid.

wild weasel was the only one i would have thought wasnt a trooper.
