They have Arctic Stormshadow and Color Change Zartan! Edit: So the thread and title of the video is "Why is it so hard to find the latest GI JOE Classified figures?" Yet, the image of the video is "Why aren't kids buying GI Joe anymore?" That is analogous to the Joe Question. The problem hasn't been properly defined. Without a proper definition and understanding what is wrong there won't be an effective solution. As some people have alluded to the possibility of forced scarcity to artificially increase demands. Certain ports are still backlogged and there is the impending rail strike. Just as an aside, When I was in Haiti the issue wasn't a lack of stuff. The stuff was in Port au Prince. The problem was storing it in Port au Prince and distributing it to the rest of the country before it spoiled. The product isn't on the shelf because what was available has been sold and not replaced with new Joes but other items?! Here in Hawaii, even the movie figures and CC are gone. But unlike the video the shelves are empty in both Target and Walmart. Even with "Island" pricing the toys sell. With the cost of shipping back to the Mainland I highly doubt there are that many scalpers locally. Shang Chi which seemed to pegwarm in other markets flew off the shelf here. Katy was quickly for sale online at $5 but was still $22 if found instore here. As for kids not buying Joes, despite the age on the exterior of the package, the Classified Series doesn't seem to be marketed for kids. It seems to be a cash cow targeting customers that were kids back in the 80s and 90s. The Joes are being carried on nostalgia. The Classified Series could capture kids interests but they seems out of the price range. I would like to see an increase in durability and availability. One honest question is how will GI Joe need to evolve? It went from 12 inch to 3.73 to the current modern mix of Classified and the 'promised' return of O rings. Toys that came to life didn't even last long with Lego Dimensions or the Disney Infinity. I loved Lego Dimensions but clearly the aging hipster was not the demographic necessary to keep a brand alive.
