Toys come first with G.I. Joe for me. Often times, I had the toys first and then wanted to see media that featured the characters the toys were based on. I remember when I got my first '86 Vipers and wanting to see them in the cartoon. I remember when Pursuit of Cobra line came out and wanting there to be a comic or cartoon to go along with it that would explain how the characters' gear worked and whatnot. I think that was a missed opportunity.

Gi Joe needs more CG film series straight to video.

I started out watching the cartoon in the 80s and moved onto toys.
So toys gets my vote since I'm still doing that. I may try the movies again but they just didn't give much of a nostalgia vibe. |

The toys 100%. There?s so many figures that never appear in any media that in a way the figures tell their own story themselves

The toys all the way. Don't think there would have been comics, cartoons or films without the toys. The toys meant the most to me and always have.
Yeet just said it best in that there are so many figures that never even get used in the media and that the toys themselves can tell the stories.

They should have. It's probably too much of a stretch, but a PoC movie would have been cool. The designs were realistic looking, and I could see them in a movie. Pursuing Cobra in extreme environments could have made for some good action scenes.
